World No.1 Novak Djokovic is out of BNB Paribas Open in Indian Wells, surprisingly losing to Philipp Kolhschreiber with 6:4,6:4.
The match had interrution because of heavy rain, but the German adapted to win his first victory against No.1 in his career. The record of games between the players were on Djokovic’s side with 8-1 wins. But this time it was clear that the Serb was out of form with commiting 27 unforced errors, conversing just one of his five break point opportunities.
After the game Djokovic struggled to find a reason for his loss.
“To be honest, I don’t enjoy losing, nobody does, but especially in a tournament like this, a tournament where I have had plenty of success in the past,” Djokovic said.
“I thought I was in good form. I was practicing well. But it just happens, one of those days. You just have to deal with it, move on, turn the next page.”
