Roger Federer is in incredible form, and while he lost the final in Indian Wells., he continues to impress in Miami Open. He reached the semi-finals in the tournaments as he won against Kevin Anderson in just 60 minutes with score 6-0, 6-4.
Federer started the game confidently winning the first nine games. After that Anderson managed to fight his way up to 3-3 at the second set. After that for short time the game was between the two players, but Federer got the upper hand and continued to stroll to his victory, with the winning ball played by a magnificient backhand.
“I hit it late and that’s why it went short,” he said of the shot. “That’s not what I wanted to do but maybe what it took. I got a bit lucky there at the end.”
Federer will play against Denis Shapovalov in the semi-finals.
